The third form of Identity Theft is the one that most people think of, Financial.  The person who steals your identity may set up new accounts in your name, use existing accounts and run up your balance, borrow money on your home, and buy cars or even homes in other cities in your name.  After they have exhausted your credit, they disappear.  You are left with a 37 page FTC report to begin the long and sometimes impossible task of clearing your name.
